Teaching Qualification for Those Who Aspire to Shape the Minds of Tomorrow

The Two Oceans Graduate Institute (TOGI) is registered as a Non-Profit Company (NPC) in terms of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act No. 71 of 2008). This status reflects the Institute’s commitment to advancing higher education with a focus on community impact and long-term sustainability rather than profit.

TOGI is provisionally registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) as a private higher education institution in terms of the Higher Education Act, 1997 (Act No. 101 of 1997), under Registration No. 2017/HE08/001. This registration is valid until 31 December 2028. As with all newly established private higher education institutions, TOGI is in the candidacy phase of provisional registration. This is a standard step before full registration is granted.

All of TOGI’s academic programmes are approved and recognised by the DHET. Its qualifications are accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Each programme is aligned with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), which keeps its academic quality, rigour and relevance in line with national standards.

Through these regulatory and quality assurance measures, TOGI shows its commitment to providing higher education that is credible, relevant and meaningful.
