Two Oceans Graduate Institute (TOGI) is proudly registered as a Non-Profit Company (NPC) under the Companies Act, 2008 (Act No. 71 of 2008). This reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to advancing education in a manner that prioritises community impact and sustainability over profit. TOGI holds provisional registration with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) under the Higher Education Act, 1997, valid until December 31, 2026 (Registration No. 2017/HE08/001). As part of the standard process for all new private higher education institutions, TOGI is undergoing a candidacy phase of provisional registration. A quality audit by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) is scheduled for late 2025, paving the way for the institution’s transition to full registration. TOGI’s academic programmes are officially approved and recognised by the DHET, with all qualifications accredited by the CHE and registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Each programme aligns with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), ensuring the highest standards of academic quality and relevance. Through these rigorous compliance measures, TOGI underscores its dedication to delivering quality higher education that is both credible and impactful.

Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching

The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) approved the institution’s Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching. The programme has been accreditation by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and submitted to the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA )for registration on the respective NQF. SAQA ID: 123787. CHE: H/PR705/E005CAN

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching

The Department of Higher Education and Training approved the institution’s Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching. The Council on Higher Education accredited the PGCE and the programme will be offered for the first time during the course of 2021 upon registration on the NQF by SAQA. SAQA ID: 97457.
